Me

My background is in images.

Photography and video. I was an online teacher at The New York Institute of Photography for many years.

Talking with students I became aware of their pain points, and also discovered elements of the platform that they loved.

This experience has given me empathy for frustrated users and a deep appreciation for good design.

I also ran a small branding company for a few years where I built websites and wrote copy for various clients.

Now I create applications and websites that hopefully make life a bit easier.
